Samsung LN46D630 46-Inch: Review by Camel485

This tv has great picture quality... almost, but not quite on par with, some of the previous sets i've had including the Sony nx720 and a samsung plasma d7000. While still a slight notch below those two others, this set competes nicely at a fraction of   < CHECK PRICE >
 the other's cost. Its black levels are fairly good and are very consistent. I've been very particular about uniformity across the entire screen and as such have made sure to examine this one very closely, especially in the 4 corners. It has virtually no issues except the slightest of bleed if you get within 6 inches of the screen and look very hard. I keep the backlight setting at about 11 at all times. While this set does lack the bells and whistles of other models, it performs very well for its main function and that is to provide a picture on the screen that looks good. Overall a great tv worth 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone looking in the price range.
